The twist-grip leg locks could be a deal breaker for some, but they’re well made and reliable.
This is the review I’ve been waiting for. Like Ray Lee above I am comparing/contrasting the MeFoto RoadTrip with the Me Foto GlobeTrotter (in Carbon Fibre). Weight is about the same with the GlobeTrotter just an inch longer (as stated) and a bit bulkier but capable of handling more weight (and being steadier?). Jul 15, 2013 · All in all is this is a great tripod for the price; it’s sturdy, compact, and user-friendly. Like I say, owning a tripod is great as long as you’re going to use it. The MeFOTO backpacker tripod takes away your excuses for leaving your tripod home. It’s great for street photography, or when you’re traveling and need to pack light.

My two favourite things about this product include the ease of operation and its flexibility. I can grab all leg locks in one hand and give them a half turn to unlock it, and extend the leg out in one motion with ease. This is the review I’ve been waiting for. The 2350 is an amazingly engineered 3.6 pound tripod with head. As you may recall, I hiked with the MeFoto RoadTrip Travel tripod last year with great success. Nov 05, 2019 · Like the RoadTrip, the GlobeTrotter includes a foam grip, spiked feet, panning & drag control, and can be converted into a monopod. It’s just…beefier. The maximum height is a few inches more than the RoadTrip, at 64″. The GlobeTrotter Air is probably the only “Air” version of any of MeFOTO’s tripods that I would seriously consider.
