Material that would be considered offensive to others will be removed. When in doubt it'll be thrown out. So please don't get annoyed, angry, dismayed or saddened if or when your image is removed. The older, smaller Sigma 28mm F1.8 High Speed is much sharper as is the slightly newer APS-C Sigma 30mm F1.4 EX DC. This lens is growing on me. The Sigma EX lenses may not often be as sharp as their current Art series, but they have nice rendering and are much more affordable.

Image Quality - Images are soft and not very impressive when stopped down to f/1.8 which is ironic because this feature is supposedly the main reason to buy this lens.Since it produces very soft pictures at f/1.8 it forces you to shoot at f/2.8 or f/3.5. This is a conundrum and part of what makes this lens so contradictory.
